Aid to businesses affected by rising energy prices

The aid scheme for companies particularly affected by rising energy prices is still in force. Since its launch, it has been regularly adapted in order to broaden its scope and thus allow Luxembourg companies to reduce their expenses related to the additional cost of energy charges.

In the form of subsidies, the measures put in place make it possible to partially cover :

  • Natural gas, electricity, heat and cooling surcharges – several formulas are available depending on the intensity of energy consumption;
  • the additional diesel costs of companies in the road haulage, construction and food industry sectors;
  • the additional costs of natural gas, electricity, biomass and heat injected for applicants operating a heat production facility, a biogas production facility or a heat network.
