Pedibus

A survey conducted among children has shown that they want more physical activities, especially among friends. Therefore, the municipality of Mondorf-les-Bains will organize from May 30, 2022 a PEDIBUS, whose use is intended for children from cycle 1.1 to cycle 4.2.

What is a PEDIBUS?
The PEDIBUS is a “walking bus” that enables children to walk safely to school.
As with a normal bus, children join the PEDIBUS at fixed times at stops along a route. Groups of children will be accompanied by adult supervisors. A total of four PEDIBUS routes are planned for Mondorf-les-Bains and will replace the traditional school bus in the village of Mondorf-les-Bains.

As of May 30, 2022 the motorized school bus will no longer run in Mondorf-les-Bains. The motorized school bus will continue to serve the villages of Altwies and Ellange.

Safety
Road safety is an important issue that deserves special attention in school education. The PEDIBUS provides an additional opportunity for our children to learn safety and the rules of the road under supervision.
