People often ask about the contribution that they can make to sustainable development, one that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
This is why, the Commune of Mondorf-les-Bains and Dalheim have joined the “Climate Pact” (“Klimapakt“), which effectively guides individual municipalities towards a sustainable policy in the areas of climate change, energy, and mobility. With this in mind, on 28 March 2013, the two College of Aldermen signed an agreement with the State and the economic interest group “My energy“.
Both municipalities have created a climate team “Klimateam“, with the objective of working on improving energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions for the Commune’s buildings, vehicles and street lighting.
