Are you a national of an EU member state and would like to vote in the European elections on June 09, 2024? On this page you will find all the information you need to register to vote.

How do I register?

  • Via the myguichet.lu portal / Also available via the QR Code below
  • By going to the municipal administration in your place of residence with a valid identity document (identity card, passport).

Postal voting

The application for a postal vote must be sent to your commune of residence:

– if you want the invitation letter to be sent to you in Luxembourg: no earlier than 12 weeks and no later than 25 days before polling day. For the June 9, 2024 ballot, the request must therefore reach the College of Burgomasters and Aldermen no earlier than Monday March 18, 2024, and no later than Wednesday May 15, 2023.

– if you want the invitation letter to be sent abroad: no earlier than 12 weeks and no later than 40 days before polling day. For the June 9, 2024 ballot, the request must therefore reach the College of Burgomasters and Aldermen by Monday March 18, 2024 at the earliest and Tuesday April 30, 2024 at the latest.

Your request can be made online via MyGuichet.lu (with a LuxTrust certificate) or sent by ordinary mail (on plain paper or on a pre-printed form, available via the button below and at the Population Office (1, place des Villes Jumelées, L – 5627 MONDORF-LES-BAINS).

Please be aware that there is no mail delivery in Luxembourg on Saturdays and Sundays.

The postal voting request form is available from March 18, 2024.
